George, immediate past 1st Vice President, has been a Member of the Executive for 23 years. He served as Chairman of the Events Committee for 3 years and has been Chairman of the Finance, Marketing & Promotions Committee for the past 19 years. George holds the following tertiary qualifications: Executive Masters Sports Management; BSc Economics (Hons); Post-Graduate Diplomas in Public Administration & Education. He brings to the Association extensive experience and expertise in a range of disciplines including sport management, event management and sponsor relations. He has successfully negotiated sponsorship agreements with local and international sponsors including three 4-year agreements with Adidas International Marketing BV. Over the years he has managed national teams at all levels of international competition.
