George, immediate past 1st Vice President, has been a Member of the Executive for 23 years. He served as Chairman of the Events Committee for 3 years and has been Chairman of the Finance, Marketing & Promotions Committee for the past 19 years. George holds the following tertiary qualifications: Executive Masters Sports Management; BSc Economics (Hons); Post-Graduate Diplomas in Public Administration & Education. He brings to the Association extensive experience and expertise in a range of disciplines including sport management, event management and sponsor relations. He has successfully negotiated sponsorship agreements with local and international sponsors including three 4-year agreements with Adidas International Marketing BV. Over the years he has managed national teams at all levels of international competition.
Durly is the founder and President of Tobago Falcons Athletics. A past President of the Tobago Athletics Committee, Durly has been a member of the NAAA Executive since 2004 serving in the positions of 3rd and 4th Vice President and Committee Member. He has chaired several committees including the Cross Country and Road Running and the Selection Committee. He is a major force behind track and field officiating and currently serves as the President of the Track and Field Officials Association of Trinidad and Tobago Durly is an IAAF Technical Officials Education and Certification System Lecturer and has lectured on two courses to date. He is an IAAF Level 2 Technical Official and an Area Technical Official. He has attended several seminars under the auspices of the Regional Development Centre and was appointed Meet Manager for 2005 CARIFTA Games. Durly adds to his credit stints as Competition Director and Area Technical Official within the region. Mr Lucas has played a pivotal role in the development of the Combined Events among the Juvenile athletes through the inclusion of the events at the Falcon Games. Durly has represented Trinidad and Tobago as a Team Manager at several games including Commonwealth Games 2010, NACAC Open 2007 and 2015, NACAC Under 23 and CAC Age Group Championships
Dexter Voisin as a career soldier would have served 29 years and 305 days, at the time of his compulsory retirement on October 29th, 2019, he held the position of Regimental Sergeant Major at the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force Headquarters. Dexter is a well-known former middle and long-distance athlete during the period 1981-1997 and was a Carifta 5000m bronze medallist in Jamaica 1988. Former Head Coach of the TTDF Athletics Team and is the holder of an IAAF Level 5 Academy Chief Coach Certification. Coaches’ education is an area that Dexter is passionate about. This has led to him studying and qualifying as an IAAF Level 2 CECS Lecturer. He has trained a total of over 200 coaches both locally and regionally in the World Athletics CECS Courses. Dexter has held the position of Assistant Secretary of TTNAAA from 2004 to 2016 and General Secretary 2016 to present. During this period, He has served as Head Coach and Manager to both Junior and Senior National Teams, most memorable, the London 2012 Olympic Team. Allan Baboolal, immediate past 2nd Vice President, thas been a member of the National Association of Athletics Administrations of Trinidad and Tobago for the past forty-five (45) years. In 1976 he was elected Trustee and four years later was elected Treasurer. Subsequently, Allan went on to become the organization’s Third (3rd) Vice President and was later appointed General Secretary, a position which he held until December 2016. Mr Baboolal has his roots firmly grounded in track and field in the central region as he was a founding member of the Central Athletics Club in 1985. At Central Athletics, Allan served as President, Secretary, Head Coach and now, Assistant Coach. Over the years Allan has served as both Manager and Coach to National teams. His service has extended regionally as well, having served as a NACAC Council Member for two terms.
Ms Mary A Harper is NAAA’s Administrator overseeing multiple aspects of operations including strategic planning, human resources, financial management, information and accounting. She is an administration specialist and re-engineers business processes to ensure NAAA’s has the infrastructure and systems required to make certain the company resources are used effectively to achieve company objectives. Ms. Harper has a solid background in organizational transformation, project management and strong management skills gained from over 12 years’ experience in public and private sector firms. Ms. Harper holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of the West Indies and a Masters in Business Administration (Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Innovation) from Anglia Ruskin University U.K.
