Two big throws

19/09/2019

It always comes down to just two throws: one to qualify and one to get a medal in the final. So, that’s the objective, to see how best I can do it with two throws. Never count yourself out until it’s over.

Keshorn Walcott has been challenged this season by a nagging foot injury. But the 2012 Olympic men’s javelin champion is a fighter, and rather than call off his 2019 campaign early, he has been battling through the discomfort in the hope of a podium finish at the September 27 to October 6 IAAF World Championships in Doha, Qatar.
