There will be a new women’s champion in the Trinidad and Tobago International Marathon Festival (TTIM) 2019 on Sunday morning.
That’s because reigning Marathon women’s champion Leah Kigen is not defending her title, as she has only recently lost her mother. But Stephen Njoroge, the 2018 men’s champion, was expected to land in Trinidad yesterday to defend his title.
Also returning is the American Bryan Moorseman. Several other overseas challengers are also due in for the event and there is a new crop of local faces who should do well, including the ultra talented Sjaelan Evans.
