Jereem “The Dream ” Richards says he sees himself expanding his range to competing in the 400 metres on the global stage in the future.
Richards was speaking to the Trinidad Express after he was named Senior Athlete of the Year–Male at the NAAAtt 2018 National Awards Ceremony at the Radisson Hotel, Port of Spain, on Saturday night.
Michelle-Lee Ahye, represented by her mother Racquel, copped the Senior Athlete of the Year–Female prize. Both Richards and Ahye also came away with the top individual men’s and women’s awards, respectively, at the 24th T&T Olympic Committee awards last weekend.
