Kamaria Durant outclassed her rivals at the Dwight Yorke Stadium in Tobago, on Sunday, cruising to victory in the Falcon Games women’s 200 metres final for an impressive sprint double.
The Simplex sprinter stopped the clock at 23.62 seconds to finish well ahead of Brianna Lord, the runner-up in 24.95. On Saturday, Durant won the 100m dash in 12.05.
Jahi Hernandez struck gold in the men’s 200m, the Abilene Wildcats athlete getting to the line in 21.73 seconds. Jonathan Baker and Nicholas Douglas were second and third, respectively, clocking 21.89 and 21.97.
