Jayden Scott and Ianna Roach added to Trinidad and Tobago’s Carifta Games medal haul with bronze at the Truman Bodden Complex, here in George Town, Cayman Islands, late on Monday. There were also three medals for T&T in the 4×400 metres events, taking the country’s final tally to 24 – four gold, eight silver, 12 bronze.

T&T finished third on the medal table. Top spot went to Jamaica, the perennial champions earning 36 gold medals, 33 silver and 16 bronze for a grand total of 85. Bahamas – nine gold medals, seven silver, 10 bronze – secured second spot.
