Trinidad and Tobago track star Kelly-Ann Baptiste renews her rivalry with long-time Jamaican foe Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce in the IAAF World Athletics Championship women’s 100 metres semifinals here in Doha, Qatar, today.
Baptiste has been drawn in lane six in the third and final heat, alongside Fraser-Pryce, in five. The race, scheduled for 2.36 p.m. (TT time), will also feature defending champion Tori Bowie of the United States, Ivory Coast sprinter Murielle Ahoure and Dutchwoman Dafne Schippers. Only the top two will qualify automatically for the 4.20 p.m. final.
