Trinidad and Tobago’s Darren Alfred captured silver at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division 2 Indoor Track and Field Championships in Kansas, USA, on Saturday night. Alfred ran the third leg for St Augustine’s University in the men’s 4×400 metres relay, helping the school to second spot in three minutes, 08.39 seconds.
Texas A&M University (TAMU) – Commerce picked up gold, clocking 3:08.34 to finish just ahead of St Augustine’s. Academy of Art University bagged bronze in 3:10.02
