TRINIDAD and Tobago sprinter Michelle-Lee Ahye has won her second 100-metre event within the past week.
On this occasion she earned the top spot at the PTS Meeting Samorin 2022 in Slovakia, on Thursday.
Ahye won gold in the women’s 100m event in 11.12 seconds. American Shannon Ray snatched silver in 11.27 and Barbadian Tristan Evelyn ended third in 11.38.
On June 3, Ahye sprinted to gold in the women’s 100m at the fourth Irena Szewinska Memorial in Poland.
She clocked 11.17 in the meet held at the Zdzislaw Krzyszkowiak Stadium in Bydgoszcz.
Brazilian Vitoria Cristina Rosa took silver in 11.32 and Gina Bass of Gambia grabbed bronze in 11.33.
