Trinidad and Tobago track star Michelle-Lee Ahye has been provisionally suspended from athletics following three missed tests within a 12-month period. In a press release, yesterday, the National Association of Athletics Administrations (NAAATT) confirmed that Ahye has been charged with an anti-doping violation by the IAAF’s Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU).
“A combination of three Missed Tests and/or Filing Failures, as defined in the International Standard for Testing and Investigations, within the twelve-month period beginning on 23 June 2018, specifically for (i) a Missed Test dated 23 June 2018, (ii) a Missed Test dated 23 February 2019 and (iii) a Missed Test dated 19 April 2019.”
