Michelle-Lee Ahye produced her fastest run this season at the Millrose Games in New York, USA, on Saturday. The Trinidad and Tobago sprinter got to the line in 7.15 seconds to secure silver in the women’s 60 metres dash.
Top spot went to American English Gardner in 7.10. Gardner’s run earned her second spot on the 2019 world indoor performance list. Ahye moved up to fourth with her 7.15 clocking.
Another T&T runner, Lalonde Gordon was a non-finisher in the men’s 400m event. American Marcus Chambers won in 46.99 seconds.
