TONYA NERO will lead the charge for Trinidad and Tobago at today’s North American, Central American and Caribbean (NACAC) Cross Country Championships at the Queen’s Park Savannah in Port of Spain. A silver medallist in front of her home crowd in the 2012 edition of the Championships, Nero will be back on the Savannah grass, bidding for more podium success.
Nero and reigning national champion Samantha Shukla are the only runners selected to fly the “Red, White and Black” in the women’s 10-kilometre race.
