Andwuelle Wright and Che Richards are first up for Trinidad and Tobago at the North American, Central American and Caribbean (NACAC) Under-18 & Under-23 Track and Field Championships in Queretaro, Mexico. Wright and Richards will fly the Red, White and Black in today’s men’s under-23 long jump event, scheduled to start at 9.05am (TT time).
The opening session also features T&T sprinters Shaniqua Bascombe, Leah Bertrand, Devin Augustine, Jaydon Moore and Jerod Elcock. Bascombe and Bertrand will be on show in the qualifying round of the girls’ under-18 100 metres dash. Augustine and Moore face the starter in the boys’ under-18 100. And Elcock is the lone T&T entrant in the men’s under-23 century.
