Guevara qualifies for Commonwealth 400 metres semis

Trinidad and Tobago’s Asa Guevara has qualified for the semi-final of the Men’s 400 metres event at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.

Guevara placed 3rd in Heat 2 this morning to go through as an automatic qualifier.

Other T&T 400 metre contender, Che Lara finished 6th in Heat 1.

T&T also competed in the 800 metres event this morning with Nicholas Landeau running in Heat 3 in which he finished 7th.
